Pre-existing conditions may not be covered
Typically, pet insurance companies don’t fully cover pre-existing conditions. These are generally illnesses, injuries, or symptoms that occurred prior to the coverage date and/or any applicable waiting period.
However, MetLife Pet may actually cover certain pre-existing conditions when you switch from another provider to a group policy with MetLife Pet.
